Pleasant to look at, range is about 100', easy to use
The battery life is longer than one day. I charge them up at night, and they stay charged to take and make calls all day and into the nighttime hours. The buttons are easy to see in daylight and light up when you push one of the numbers. I was able to receive a signal through walls when I went outside,e and also through the floors down in my cement basement. I'm quite pleased with these phones.

Easy setup
I haven't had a home phone in years and had to get one for the house. It brought back soo many memories as a child just hearing it ring. The phone is easy to setup and the battery last pretty long. Not cheap at all

Great Economic Landline Set
Most folks don't use a landline on a regular basis, but you still can't beat them for calling emergency services. That's really the only reason I still pay for it. But thinking back on the days where cordless phones were a part of everyday life, I would have been quite happy with this inexpensive AT&T system. It has a slim ergonomic feel and is certainly light enough. Some have mentioned volume issues but Ive found the handset and/or speaker to be just fine. The ringer is plenty loud as well. Battery life seems adequate although I must admit I haven't had many long conversations with this set. The phone has many available special features that I haven't bothered to try, but basic use is straight forward. Just pick it, press the green button, and dial number. Switching from handset to speaker is simple as well. Just push the speaker button. Initial setup is a simple 2 minute process. Simply insert the battery on each handset, plug in the main base stand, place the handset on the base, and done! Fot the extra handset, simply place it momentarily in the main base which registers it into your system. From there, move it to it's charger base and you're good to go. If you should have any questions, they provide an 800# in the instruction booklet.

they work. but the phones do not communicate with each other
they work. but the phones do not communicate with each other. MY older Unidens, when I put names and numbers in one, it communicates with the others so all have the exact same contacts. these AT&T phones you have to program each one individually, and that takes a lot of time and is a hassle.
