I love this
I used to borrow the one at work but I finally decided to get one for myself, and I am sure glad I did. The machine has a nice choice of fonts and other assorted embellishments which I haven't tried out yet. I only wish it didn't use so much tape on the margins, even after adjusting them to the smallest size, but I guess that is to reduce the chance of the tape jamming. I usually print several labels on the same tape with just a space or two between each one (I just have to cut them apart with scissors) and that reduces the wastage.I like that it has the option to plug in to the wall or use batteries, which makes it portable. It came with a sample tape cartridge, which was nice. The split backing makes it easy to expose the adhesive and the tape is repositionable on plastic in case you mess up applying it, or change your mind later. The only con is: if I misspell or make some other sort of error I can't move the cursor back and fix it; I have to backspace until I get to the error, which erases everything so I have to type it again. I also have to backspace to the beginning after printing my labels, to clear the field in order to make new labels. There is a "clear" function but it wipes out your programming (font, size, margin choices, etc.) as well as the text.Small price to pay, when it's so handy whenever I need to make a label.

Easy to use!
I was able to use after just a few minutes of instructions and I am far from being tech savvy. Any shortcuts were spelled out so the steps were logical. Other buyers ordered the cord but I just loaded batteries and removed them after use, for the next time. I did order more label cassettes at the same time but my first project only required the sample that comes with it.

Quality label maker that is easy to use.
I had a Brother P-touch label maker for about 9 years before it died. I bought a replacement and the label cartridge goes in so easily. You have to press the Print key and then hit the return key for the label to start spitting out. The tape is easy to peel off. Works every time with ease. Excellent and compact label maker.

Great label printer with an LCD drawback
This is one of the best little label printers out there. It is easy to use, intuitive, and has a lot of great options at a very decent price. If you're just wanting to print labels and maybe add a little flair here and there, this is perfect. The cartridges are only about $3-$5 each, depending on the brand, so it gives you decent mileage for the cost. The 2 letdowns for me are that it does not come with a power cord. Not a huge deal because you can either use 6xAAA batteries or pick up a power cord for $10. Go with the power cord unless you need the convenience of carrying it around and printing on-the-go.The biggest let down is the LCD screen. All the stock photos look crystal clear and easily readable, but in reality, it is not clear. On my unit and on every review or 3rd party photo, you can see the contrast is pretty horrible. The funny thing is that it looks better in a photo than it does in reality, so I can't even post proof of what I'm seeing. The contrast on the unit lets you go up or down 2 notches, which barely affects the visibility in a meaningful way. It needs a brightness setting along with the contrast. That said, as long as you can get enough light hitting the LCD without glare from the plastic, you should be fine. A backlight with an on/off setting would have been fantastic.Even with the drawback of the LCD, I would still buy it though, as it really is a great unit.

The multiple copies feature is stellar, simple to use
My favorite labelmaker of many over the years. I love that it will print multiples of a label, that makes it easier much of the time. It's also possible to set it up so it doesn't waste as much tape, unlike earlier editions. It takes a bit of trial and error. I also like simple easy to use things. All the bells and whistles just make it harder to use. It is smaller than the more complicated ones. The display is a little light is the only down, but the rest all adds up to five stars. I just got another for my office. I've had it for nine months and use it often. Never had a glitch.

The label maker is fun to use.
It gets the job done. Easy to use. Nice size to carry around. I bought the brother P-touch TZe-641 tape to use with it. I used the label maker at my job to label the paper sorting cases. You can change the font to different styles and size. You can change any setting on the label maker. The cutting lever cuts well. I like the product.

Easy to use
Had to buy a power cord as it does not come with one, but otherwise it works great! Easy enough for my husband to figure out so he could his new tool box.
