Comfortable and supportive
This replaces an earlier Fellowes wrist support of the same design but a different colour. At 46cm long, it matches the length of my keyboard and fits close against it offering comfortable support to my wrists for long days of typing and I wouldn't want to be without it.Its predecessor was in daily use for 5-6 years until last month when it developed a tiny puncture to one end and the sticky gel filling began to ooze out. I taped over it for a while but it was time to splash out on a replacement and when this one eventually wears I will happily replace it with the same again. Very good quality, a good lifespan of 5+ years and good value for money.

Cool & Comfortable
I've never used a seperate wrist rest with a keyboard before, they tend to be pre-attached with the board when i buy one. But after recently purchasing my Filco keyboard which doesnt have any wrist rest, i was in the market for something like this. And this Fellows one made from gel, rather then foam, caught my attention. The positive reviews for this product helped me make my decision quicker(thank you), and i have to say that they are correct on the whole with their assesment. This is a great keyboard wrist rest, the width & depth of it were more physicaly eye pleasing to me when i saw it in the flesh then reading it off a Spec sheet. It's not so soft that your wrist moulds into it, but it sits gently on top & glides across it. A bonus for me, was that this was the perfect height & size for my new keyboard, which are mostly standerdised in terms of size, so you cannot go too far wrong with a full sized keyboard. In conclusion, the Fellowes crystals gel keyboard wrist support is very comfortable & cool to the touch, the perfect support for a typist or gamer. Reccomended.

Durable if used with care
I wanted a gel wrist rest, as opposed to foam, because this is what I've used before and found them to be more comfortable. The Fellowes wrist rest seems generally okay, perhaps a bit lower quality than I'm used to but does the job. But the plastic outer really is as fragile as other reviews stated - much more fragile than the ones I have used in the past. I'm treating it with the utmost care or else I think it'll burst and the gel will leak, as others reported. For £10 it seems fair value as long as you're prepared to be very careful with it.Edit: I've increased my rating from 3 to 4 stars. Despite my initial concerns, it's lasted well for 2.5 years of almost daily use. I think that's pretty good for a tenner, and there's no sign of it wearing out.

More of an arm rest than wrist support.
A while ago, I bought a gaming laptop. I soon realised that they tend to get quite hot when the action steps up so I bought a laptop stand/cooler to help it stay cool. This worked well but then I realised that it was really uncomfortable to actually use the laptop's keyboard for prolonged periods because my left arm was being raised about 2 inches from the table and my wrist was bending upwards more than normal. After a while this started to put pressure on my elbow joint.I decided I needed an something to support my left forearm about half way between my elbow and my wrist. Whilst a regular cushion will work it is really too big for this purpose so after looking around on Amazon, I discovered the 'Fellowes Keyboard Wrist Support'.It is about 18 inches long so it will work well for both arms while typing. It is firm and also sort of 'squishy' but never loses its shape. For me provides just the right amount of support to my left arm without being too firm or too soft. I noticed one critical review said it was smelly & sticky. Mine is neither. I have quite an acute sense of smell and I cannot smell anything even when I stick my nose right up to it.The top of it is smooth so your arm(s) can move about without any friction but the bottom is flat so that it doesn't slide around during those frantic gaming moments.I have had the wrist support for two years now and it is has not lost any firmness. On this basis, I expect it to last for many years to come. Some reviews have criticized the support for being too low. I think this is probably because the are using their laptop at something close to knee height when sitting (eg with a laptop on a coffee table). When you are using it at a desk where the keyboard will probably be somewhere between stomach and chest height, it is the correct thickness. In my case in particular, as an arm support, it is perfect.

Burst after one use
This wrist rest is really comfortable and definitely helps support whilst typing - however mine burst open at the seams after one use. Very flimsy at the seams so now I've had to tape up the edges to stop the gel from seeping out. I leant my elbow on the end once and now there is a permanent dent. If you can trust yourself to only rest your wrists on this, then it will be fine - but if any more slight pressure, then get the tape ready.
