I bought this for home use, so it will only get occasional use.I am pleased with my purchase. It is well made from good quality materials. I like that I can store the shredder unit inside the collecting bin. It takes up very little room.It shreds quickly and effectively. I was surprised by how noisy it is, but this is not an issue for the short time that it will be in use. The shredder unit just lifts off the bin making it easy to empty. When I had emptied the bin, I noticed that there were still lots of pieces of paper in the blades. However, this blockage was easy to deal with by reversing the blades quickly, then going forward again.I would advise caution when emptying as it is easy to catch the blades, and they are sharp.I think that it is value for money.

Excellent cross shredder, works much better than expected, a pleasant surprise.I would recommend you also buy some Swordfish shredder oil lubricant, it works better with it. Without the oil paper gets stuck quicker and it struggles to shred the paper. When needed (read the instructions), apply the oil by sandwiching streaks of oil between 2 pieces of paper and feed it through,. After you have oiled it, 3 sheets of paper goes through very faster. If you plan to shred more than a carrier bag full of documents, remember to oil it now and again. After about an 45 minutes of constant use, t will get hot and the red light means it needs to cool down, however, you don't have to wait too long for it to work again, about 15-20 minutes, the red light changes back to green and it is ready to use again.I took a chance buying a smaller machine, I love it, it works well, I am glad I bought it. It cuts credit cards up efficiently and quickly too. It's the prefect size for the home but works just as well as other branded and larger machines. It stays under my desk, ready to use. I love this machine, it is the best one I have purchased and excellent value for the money, I paid just over £30, If you need a reliable cross shredder, I highly recommend this one.

The media could not be loaded. Really easy to set up and use - easily handled 5 sheets of paper at a time. Everything was really well shredded and nothing was legible in the cuttings.Have not experienced any problems with jamming or blocking and am really happy with the quality especially for the price!

Excellent value, does what it says, credit cards shredded exellent. A bit heavy when you lift it, but don't shred a lot.

It does a great job of shredding paper and plastic cards. I gave it 4 stars as I find it very heavy and would have been better if there was a handle to carry it.

Absolutely a fantastic shredder! Unlike the cheap one I had before, this shredder is amazing for clearing away clutter. I've been able to go through at least a jumbo-sized file of old college notes in just an hour or two, compared to the whole day it used to take with my old one. I simply can't recommend it enough. Well worth the money!
