Charges every battery from AAA to D
I purchased this because not only did it come with 6 D batteries I needed, it charges fast, shuts off when fully charged, has illuminated charge light and charges AAA, AA 9-VOLT, C AND D cell rechargeable batteries. The first one had a plug wire issue and it was replaced immediately. I'm so glad I didn't buy a cheap unit!

Took a very long time to charge the batteries…like hours. The package did not include sufficient directions. Like, what does discharge mean for this unit and when and how do we use that function? Doesn’t explain anything. I’d look around for another brand next time.

OK CHARGER THAT COMES WITH SIX "D" SIZE BATTERIES
Great solution to my non-solar outdoor motion light. I recently ordered an outside motion sensor light that uses 3 D size batteries instead of the usual Solar Panel for those spotlights to be used under a set of trees that allows no sunlight to get in. I didn't like the idea of continually buying the batteries so I ordered this charger/battery set. Batteries charged up fine and even though these are 1.2 volts and not the "needed" 1.5 volts the light seems to work fine. NICE that the charger also can charge AAA, AA, 9V, and C batteries beside the D size. Be certain to try RIGHT AWAY when you receive the set.

Don't ever buy a item that has been refurbish.
I bought this charger with 6- D size batteries that came with it, which was great. The first one turned out defective after the first charge, called Amazon talked with the agent, and got a replacement. Turns out the replacement is a refurbished. Why I know this is there is a small green sticker on it, which means it has been refurbished. And it takes more the 24 hours to charge 6 -D size batteries. The next step is to call Amazon and return this and buy a bit more expensive one, you always get what you pay for.
