Super great controller
Super great product although I would say you definitely need the manual and the manual isn't that helpful so I would say they need to put a better manual in there but other wise super cool product lots of good grips on it and looks so cool I just wish there was a Metallica sticker for it so it could be a ride the lightning ps4 controller and by the way if you are having trouble Bluetooth pairing your controller to like a iPad or phone or tablet or something you need to hold down the share button and the home button at the same time for around 5-10 sec. Until it goes it to rapid flashing then go in to your device Bluetooth settings and look for it there

Great value, consistent sync and function
Works great for my son's PS4. It charges well and syncs easily. Much better price/value than the brand name and just as functional.

Thumbsticks are trash.
Just came today. It connected fine. There's lag on the gameplay and the joysticks/thumb sticks would randomly freeze my character or go in a totally different direction than what I pressed. It's not because I'm playing a state of the art game. This thing was glitching on Burger Time (circa 1982).I ordered both colors and the other one should be here tomorrow. I'll update my review and exchange the first controller if the next one is better.UPDATE: The 2nd controller (white/lightning) is amazing! It's working so great for me. I just wanted to tune out and play retro games. Now I can do that. I guess I'll replace the first one and update my review in a couple of months if anything changes. So happy right now :)

DON'T SLEEP
U know how we think. Cheap price....u get what u pay for. Not with this one here. Don't want to speak to soon but it's doing the job as well as a Sony controller. Hopefully this controller and the sake of its brand will hold up. I DO RECOMMEND!

Works with the Steam Deck via Bluetooth
For those specifically looking for a PS4 type controller to use with a Steam Deck via Bluetooth, this one appears to "just work" as long as you know how to activate the proper pairing mode on the controller which the included instructions do NOT tell you how to do.Basically the instructions that come with this are, well, lets just say "not so good" especially since they're missing this very important part for those trying to connect the controller to a Steam Deck, a PC, or anything other than a PS4. Allow me to do the vendor's job for them, and thanks to the other guy who posted a review for doing it too. (I'm just elaborating a bit more.)Steam Deck Pairing Instructions:1) Charge up the new controller some before anything else. It's probably slightly less than 1/2 charged when you get it. It doesn't need to be fully charged, but you don't want to start out with the battery almost dead.2) Turn on deck, unlock, etc, click steam button, select settings, go to Bluetooth, make sure Bluetooth is actually enabled. ("Show all devices" should not need to be on.)3) Before attempting to pair the controller, disconnect it from USB. It should start out **disconnected from power** and **powered off**. Being connected to USB power/data seem to put it into some special PS4 pairing mode that you don't want.4) Hold down the "share" button (the tiny upper left special button) and then press and hold the "home" button (the one between the sticks) for 5 seconds or however long it takes to go into pairing mode.5) After 5 seconds or so, you should see the center LED start to flash white in an irregular manner that's similar to an airplane tailfin strobe. That is flashflash........flashflash.......6) The device will show up as a device named "Wireless Controller" in the bluetooth list on the deck. Select that device and pair it.7) The device should now be paired and the airplane strobe led effect should stop.8) Immediately switch the control panel to the "Controllers" panel, select the new controller, and test the inputs to make sure they're working properly. Don't forget the L3/R3 (push down on stick), trackpad, trackpad click, and gyro.Congrats, everything should be working. Steam Input should recognize it as a "PS4 Controller" and treat it like one.As for the audio jack, I didn't test that but if it works it should show up as a bluetooth audio input and output. (I'm not really expecting that to work and don't really need it myself.)Quality issues with the controller are pretty minor but some are present:- As mentioned, the instructions for use with "PC" bluetooth are missing. The ones for PS4 pairing don't work on anything but a PS4.- The analog triggers seem to have a very narrow analog range, but it's hard to judge how bad this is since I don't have an original sony PS4 controller to compare with. If not having too much dead zone in the trigger pull is important to you then you may not be happy with this.- The right analog trigger on mine makes a slight creaking noise when pulled. This doesn't seem too serious but just suggests some manufacturing imprecision.- The trackpad seems to require quite a bit of pressure to click, but again I don't know how much worse this is, if any, than the original controller since I don't have one handy to compare.Overall: It's decent for the price and good enough for anyone who isn't too picky or serious about controllers. Basically it's a 3/5 controller with +1 for low price = 4/5.
