This was a good deal. It works great to hook my switch to the tv. I use it daily and have had no issues yet

Exactly what we needed to take for the kids to be able to play on drive down to vacation. Seems well made. Very simplified version and I am happy with it.

Switch No Longer Powers On
The media could not be loaded. My nintendo switch has absolutely no problems. Has only been used a few times since I’ve had and just recently started downloading games for it. Since I’ve gotten this adapter it worked at first for a few nights when I would randomly play for a bit and then randomly about 3 days ago it just wasn’t turning on at all. Eventually It managed to turn back on after trying with different chargers. But after using it last night not even for an hour—today I try to turn it on and nothing. Other chargers won’t work either. Warranty on my switch is gone too so that’s a huge bummer. Wish I woulda known others were having this issue before I purchased.

Compatible, durable, best solution
Even with the ease of traveling with a dock, I wanted an even slimmer solution for traveling with the switch to play. This nailed it! Make sure to get a switch ac power adapter or use them one that came with the system and you’re good to go. Just plug and the stuff where it says and you’ll be gaming on the tv of every hotel or friend you visit

No issues
The media could not be loaded. To the reviews that claimed this device ended their switches, I dont think you should leave you switch plugged into this device indefinitely. I bought this hoping it would work for the new swtich2 but alas it wouldn't display the picture. I didnt fully expect it to either. I have a switch1 (the original not oled or lite) and it worked perfectly fine. There was no delay from controller to game. My switch still turns on and all is good. I think this is a great device to use as you are using your gaming system but it isnt nintendo branded so I dont trust leaving my switch hooked up to it endlessly. I only gave it 4 stars because it didnt exceed my expectation.

Cords galore
This works great as a replacement dock. But it’s annoying, all the cords get in the way and I’d very much an eye sore.

Simple to setup and use
The dock replacement does exactly what I needed and worked well with our switch to connect to the tv. Very easy to setup and use.
