I have combination skin prone to breakouts, and surprisingly, this cream actually makes me less oily. Who knew a thick cream could be the MVP for a T-zone prone to shine?Speaking of thick, the consistency is on the heavier side—perfect for winter when your skin is practically crying out for help. It’s so good at its job that I even stick with it through the summer months. That said, on very hot or humid days, it does like to take its sweet time absorbing. But hey, I’ll forgive it because it works wonders once it’s in.For convenience, I’ve transferred it into an airless pump jar (highly recommend this hack) so I can get a consistent amount without faffing around. Also, it’s fragrance-free, but if you sniff it closely, it smells...like cream? That’s the best I can do to describe it.It’s a medium-thick cream that feels luxurious going on and gives my skin a nice, hydrated finish. I use it morning and night, and it leaves my skin feeling soft, like I’ve just come back from a spa day. And that softness isn’t just a fleeting moment—it sticks around all day, which is a big win for a product this affordable.The real selling point? It’s hands down the best moisturiser I’ve ever used, which is why I keep coming back. Pair it with the CeraVe Gentle Face Wash, and you’ve got a dream team. I absolutely love CeraVe Moisturizing Cream! It’s incredibly nourishing and leaves my skin feeling soft and hydrated all day. The formula is rich yet non-greasy, absorbing quickly and making my skin feel smooth without feeling heavy. It works wonders on dry patches and has really helped to improve the overall texture of my skin. I also love that it’s fragrance-free and gentle, so it doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin. This is a good moisturiser. It is nicely priced, not greasy, and moisturises the skin instantly and sufficiently. The only issue is that it says it is non-comedogenic but can cause clogged pores, which may happen when combined with other face products. Nevertheless, you can use it for the face or body; I will continue to purchase this.

Damaged my skin barrier over a year ago and although the bulk of the damage cleared up lit was left with an unsightly rash, looked like acne but was not raised and under the skin. I once again damaged the skin barrier, around my eyes especially, super dry, red and wrinkly. Within days of using this I saw a huge difference, even clearing up the rash I thought I was stuck with. Will be using this as my day to day moisturiser going forward.

Thick texture but it spreads quickly and absorbs well. I find that this product keeps my skin soft and moisturised through the day (I apply it to my face). I bought this smaller size to see if I like it before going for the big tub which I now will.

I usually don’t write reviews, but my oh my — this cream is a lifesaver.I have very sensitive skin with breakouts and acne. On top of that, it used to be super dry; I could literally pick the dry skin off my face because nothing I tried before helped. Finally, I also am a slightly vain fella and the fine wrinkles below my eyes bothered me and no anti ageing stuff helped reduce them for the life of me.This lotion alone solved the dryness and wrinkles in one. I can’t even see the fine lines below my eyes anymore and I only apply it once a day. They are completely gone and my skin feels smooth and hydrated for the first time. I love the fact that it has no scent and is PH-friendly, as this helps keep my breakouts at bay.My skin is a very complicated one to treat in general, so the fact that two products from this brand solve all my issues in one is just astounding. I will definitely continue to purchase from them.I use this lotion with a foaming face wash by the same brand for my face so far, and it’s done miracles. I’ve never felt more comfortable under my own skin. Instead of buying expensive dermatology products, these do the job, 10 times better than their other friends — trust me. They are worth a try.

Thé cream feels thick coming out of the tube but okay on my face as a nightly moisturiser. Having said that the cream didn’t keep my skin hydrated and I went back to my usual cream.

This stuff is witchcraft. I have combination (dry around my nose, very oily on cheeks and forehead), extremely acne-prone skin which is often quite sensitive due to the actives I use (vitamin C and tretinoin) that leave me very peely and dry when I overdo them (which I often do!). I have used all kinds of moisturisers, usually settling for La Roche Posay's Effaclar H or Cetaphil's Rich Night Cream, but I thought I'd give this one a go.It's the best. Just buy it. You get a huge tube of the stuff for 6 quid and a tiny amount goes a long way. I apply it on a damp face with hyaluronic acid on under it, or with a much more 'watery' moisturiser underneath it if I'm so dry peeling like a snake, but really it would probably do the job on its own. It locks in so much moisture, and though you can 'feel' it even hours later if you touch your face, it's not unpleasant – it doesn't have that uncomfortable greasy feel that heavy duty moisturisers (Cicaplast, E45, etc.) usually do.It doesn't exacerbate my acne, makeup applies well over it even with only a couple of minutes sinking in time, and it doesn't usually make other products pill despite how rich it is. It healed a recent tattoo up a treat, and sometimes I use the excess on my hands to tame my flyaways in my hair. I recommended it to my boyfriend who gets awful eczema and he's fallen in love with it too.Cerave please never ever discontinue this moisturiser because I've found my holy grail!
