Could have been a very well written Love story if the other ...umm.... elements were not so over the top. those could well have been avoided or rather toned down....Great entertainment value even if no literary acclaim. I would pick up a great story any day rather a literary acclaimed one that bores the death out of me and have to leave it after a few to hundred pages. Loved the central characters.. Steele - Grey - heady combination! The pull, the denial, the anguish, are so very well depicted in simple lucid everyday language; no wonder it has found the impressive readership around the world.Immediately bought the other 2 in the series to complete the trilogy in one go. Finished reading all 3 before writing review for each of them.

This has to be the first of its kind, with its extreme extent. An absolute page Turner. The images it creates while reading are so overboard. Keen to make a purchase of next book in this series.

I had heard a lot about this novel but was really confused whether to read it or not. But once I start reading I found this unputdownable. I loved the characters. Ana and Mr. Grey - they are made for each other. I loved their chemistry, romance and everything about them. I just loved it. Now I'm gonna complete the triology.Thank You E.L.James for giving such a wonderful novel. Your characters will stay for long.

I'm happy that i started my book reading journey with 50 shades of grey. Mark my words this book is addictive. Right now i have just finished reading 5 chapters but each line & each sentence in this book is written properly/the way it should be. So i have decided to first finish book & then watch movie because in movie scenes are not as great as book plus fast & not well directed( i have seen some scene of movie while reading this book)Thanks to EL James.

I've wanted to read Fifty Shades for a while now to know the reason for the hype. The experience was like watching a car crash. It's terrible, but you can't look away, so you watch with squinty eyes. In this case, I skimmed over quite some agonisingly mushy pages to minimise my cringing.We learn a bit about gentler forms of non-standard sex, fortunately within my comfort zone. And the anticipated eroticism is certainly there, although it gets a bit repetitive after the first half.The bearable parts were the short email exchanges (that also thankfully reduce the content) and the innocence and love of Ana. Otherwise, it's just an M&B Desire on steroids.Should you read it? Yes, even if just for awareness, laughing almost throughout, and a bit of competent titillation.(I wouldn't have bothered star rating it, if it was optional.)

At times the book is monotonous. It could have been a very good love story but instead at some point it feels like reading a blue book.Average read.

This a book which will remain with you for the life time .. beautiful story and wrote with soo much elegance... ❤️ No wonder it is best sellers from the time of its release... ❤️ just love it... n guys must learn from this novel how to respect and love their lady... Christian Grey here is an phenomenonal partner... just love it..

A great chemistry between two persons who are helplessly in love with each other but as different as two horizons . They are incompatible yet inseparable which makes it a great joy for the reader . There conversation over mail is the best part of the book . Will surely look forward to read the next part
