Leviton Decora Slide Dimmer Switch for Dimmable LED, Halogen and Incandescent Bulbs, DSL06-1LZ, White with Ivory and Light Almond Faceplates

The media could not be loaded. This switch works as advertised. It actually dims LED lights. See video for proof. It came with a white switch cover attached and included an almond and off white switch cover that I did not use. It was foolproof to install. All of the connections are clearly labeled and the screws color coded for connecting wires. Installs in just a few minutes with screwdrivers. Looks match switches in the same bank. It is the middle switch in the picture. But the big news is that it actually dims LED lights. Worked immediately. No fiddling or adjusting required.

Before I started looking for a dimmer switch, I did not know that LED bulbs require a dimmer switch rated for LED bulbs. I read reviews of cheaper dimmer switches that still caused the LED bulbs to flicker. This switch works great, with no flickering, from dim to bright. And, yes, you have to have LED bulbs that are dimmable; not all of them can be used with a dimmer switch.

Substantial connectors work with any wire you find yourself working with. Good documentation. Don't bother with the cheap stuff.

Works as advertised. The programming was easy to set the minimum dimming point. Would buy again.

This was the 4th dimmer switch I tried in a room with 15 Halo HCL6 fixtures (approx. 14 w each) that works pretty well. All the others had some issue: flickering, wouldn't exit dimmer range setup, or didn't dim very well.This switch dims pretty well, and there isn't any flickering. I'd prefer it dim a little more, but it's pretty good as is at the factory preset. I did not see the dimmer switch to adjust the dimmer range on the back of the switch as shown in the instructions for the DSL06 model. It works pretty well as is, so I didn't investigate further if it should be there or not.The house wires connect directly to screws on the switch and makes for easy installation. No wiring nuts needed.

Easy to install, really like the look of this particular switch over the others. Lowe’s only covers certain type and those have a “clicking” noise when you are turning off and on. This one glides from my perspective. It comes with 3 different colors I have the white color. The face cover I have on the wall did not come with it (that is purchased separate). Overall I prefer this switch over the others.

After struggling with LEDS, fluorescents and incandescent in every manner of mixture and swapping on non Leviton "smart" Maestro Switches ( If you have Maestro Switches you know my pain!) . I finally tried this switch. An easy install, a single pole for a 3 pendant light switch. It was a simple and fast replacement. Wire for wire... Maybe a 10 minute job ( including 3 bulb changes...)... Now, the dimming could be a bit more "Tapered" The low to bright is not as graduated as I would have hoped! but it works and works well! Easy to install, I could not be happier..... So now time will tell... So far,... a 9 out of 10! ( dimming graduation is the weak point!) I'm buying more as we speak!

I bout this to dim a set of ceiling LED lights in the kitchen. It is perfect! There is no flickering and very smooth dimming. I'm happy that I chose Leviton brand.
